АРАБСКИЕ ЗАИМСТВОВАНИЯ В УЗБЕКСКОМ ЯЗЫКЕ

Аннотация

This article describes Arabic loanwords in the Uzbek language. The influence of various languages on the Uzbek language's vocabulary is examined. In addition to Arabic, Russian, Persian, and Tajik have also influenced the vocabulary. Borrowed words undergo phonetic, semantic, grammatical, and orthographic adaptation in the recipient language. The narrowing and expansion of the meanings of borrowed words is observed. The forms of borrowing–direct and indirect–are also studied. The ability to add prefixes, postfixes and endings to the root morpheme allows the borrowed word to be fully assimilated into the language.
