This article explores the degrees of comparison of adjectives in English and Uzbek, highlighting their similarities and differences. Both languages feature three degrees: positive, comparative, and superlative. While English typically employs morphological changes and auxiliary words to express these degrees, Uzbek primarily uses suffixes to modify adjectives. Understanding these distinctions is crucial for language learners and educators, as it enhances comprehension and proficiency in both languages. The article aims to provide insights into the grammatical structures of adjectives and their comparative forms in English and Uzbek.
