Аннотация

The participation of Uzbek delegates in the First Turkological Congress held in Baku on February 26, 1926, and their role in the discussion of scientific, cultural, and linguistic issues among Turkic-speaking peoples are explored in this study. The fact that 6 out of the 131 delegates at the congress were from Uzbekistan indicates this nation’s active involvement in the overall Turkic integration processes. The research focuses on the educational, journalistic, and literary activities of intellectuals such as Abdurashid Abdujabbarov, Ghazi Alim Yunusov, and Mashriq Yunus oglu Elbay, as well as their ability to maintain their positions in public and cultural life despite Soviet repressions. It was determined that Uzbek representatives at the congress not only participated as attendees but also contributed to Turkological science with specific scientific and organizational proposals In particular, the scientific and practical significance of the suggestions put forward by Abdurashid Abdujabbarov is emphasized. The results of the study show that the initiatives of the Uzbek delegates had a significant impact on strengtheningscientific and cultural integration among Turkic-speaking peoples and shaping pan-Turkic ideas.
