This study examines how the concept of the Insan al-Kamil (Perfected Human), rooted in both philosophical and Sufi traditions, is reflected in the works of the Kazakh thinker Abay Kunanbayev. The process begins by exploring the relationship between the concept of logos in Ancient Greek philosophy and the understanding of Insan al-Kamil in Sufi thought, which was later enriched through the contributions of Islamic philosophers. After presenting the historical development of this concept, the article analyzes the perspectives on individual and social morality in Abay’s Book of Words (Kara Sözler). The connections between moral integrity, the struggle against ignorance, the notions of balance and moderation, and the inner maturity of the individual are evaluated through the lens of the Insan al-Kamil.
