Аннотация

This thesis evaluates constructive and behavioral methods in teaching English as a second language (ESL), emphasizing their theoretical foundations and practical applications. It analyzes cognitive, behavioral, and constructivist perspectives, highlighting the contributions of scholars such as Noam Chomsky, Jean Piaget, and Lev Vygotsky. The study demonstrates how these methods support language acquisition through interaction, collaboration, and motivation. Practical strategies such as problem-based learning, gamification, and the integration of artificial intelligence tools are also discussed. The findings suggest that combining behavioral reinforcement with constructivist, learner-centered activities enhances ESL students’ engagement and language competence
