The article argues for the necessity of considering the reader’s background knowledge to enhance comprehension and mitigate misunderstandings caused by socio-cultural disparities. Ultimately, it emphasizes the translator’s crucial role in bridging linguistic and cultural gaps through careful attention to contextual factors.
