This article provides an in-depth analysis of how the philosophy of values is reflected in language and national mentality, focusing particularly on the essence and meaning of the values of humanity and humanness. The author examines how the concept of humanity has been formed in the spiritual worldview of the Uzbek people and how it is represented in national spirit, language, literature, and religious sources. Based on data from the Old Turkic language, historical written monuments–especially the Kultegin inscription–as well as ethical values found in the Qur’an and Hadith, the paper reveals the axiological essence of humanity. Throughout the study, the notions of odamiylik (humanity), insoniylik (humanness), and odamgarchilik (benevolence) are interpreted as closely related concepts, and their place and artistic expression within the moral and spiritual value system of the Uzbek people are explained. The article also explores the intersection points between national and universal values and analyzes their semantic features in the collective consciousness of the people.
