ETHNOCULTURAL FACTORS OF THE LINGUISTIC LANDSCAPE BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF THE TRANS-URAL DISTRICTS OF BASHKORTOSTAN

Abstract

The article analyzes the results of a sociological study on the problems of the ethno-linguistic situation in the Trans-Urals regions of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The data obtained in the survey indicates that the language in the Republic of Bashkortostan is the most important ethnically forming factor. The article emphasizes that a person's native language is determined by their ethnicity. At the same time, the degree of language proficiency, as well as the scope of its application, cannot serve as criteria for determining the native language. The results confirmed that the family in modern society remains the most important institution for the preservation and transmission of the native language.
