This article examines the semantic, cognitive, and linguocultural features of the concept “globalization.” The study is based on the theoretical approaches of scholars such as G. Lakoff, Sh. Safarov, N. Fairclough, and M. Halliday, exploring how the term “globalization” is represented across different languages and cultural contexts. The paper analyzes the semantic layers of the term, including its positive and negative connotations, as well as issues of equivalence in translation. A comparative analysis between English, French, and Uzbek reveals the cultural and linguistic variation in the conceptual understanding of globalization. From a linguocultural perspective, globalization is interpreted as a reflection of the interaction between language and culture. The findings indicate that the concept carries diverse semantic meanings within different cultural discourses, highlighting the dynamic and socially shaped nature of language.
