Abstract

This article analyzes the impact of technological development on the lexical system of the Uzbek language and the formation of new terms. It substantiates the need for accurate and appropriate translation of new terminology emerging as a result of the development of information technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital fields into Uzbek. The article provides a detailed explanation of the main approaches to term translation – word formation, abbreviation creation, transliteration, calquing, and metaphorical translation methods. The linguistic features, advantages, and key aspects to consider in applying each method are illustrated with examples. In the conclusion, terminological consistency, international compatibility, and the harmonization of national language norms are highlighted as the main factors ensuring the stable development of technological vocabulary
