Abstract

Chingiz Aitmatov is one of the greatest representatives of world literature of the 20th century, and almost all of his works (some even multiple times) have been translated into Uzbek. This article explores the history of translating the writer’s works into Uzbek. It analyzes small details in the Uzbek titles of the author’s works that were overlooked by translators, and in some cases, provides appropriate recommendations.
