Abstract

This article analyzes the syntactic and semantic features of rhythm and repetition in the English translation of the epic “Alpomish” by Kosimboy Mamurov. The study explores how artistic rhythm created through repetition, emphasis and rhythmic parallelism in the original text is transformed in translation. It is also demonstrated through examples: the syntactic simplifications, semantic expansions and synonymous substitutions that occur in the translation process.
