Abstract

This article analyzes the current state of Uzbek translation practice, its problems, and possible solutions. The author highlights issues such as negligence in the field of translation, the decline in quality under the influence of the market economy, and the lack of state commissions and critical editing. At the same time, the paper proposes practical recommendations for selecting high-quality works for translation, encouraging translators, developing translation education, and strengthening cultural ties among Turkic peoples
