Abstract

This article examines the development of contemporary Uzbek storytelling, the role of oral folk traditions, and the integration of new artistic forms. The main aim of the study is to identify the interconnection between folk creativity and the artistic-stylistic features of modern prose, and to analyze new forms, themes, and characters in the short story genre. The article demonstrates how folk motifs, national values, and contemporary realities are harmoniously integrated in modern Uzbek stories.
