Аннотация

"Codex Cumanicus" is one of the most valuable monuments of Kipchak Turks
and was written in the Crimea region in the XIII-XIV centuries. Traces of the
Turkish-Kipchak dictionary reflected in the "Codex" can be found in the dialects
of the Azerbaijani language. The comparative study of the vocabulary of this
Kipchak work with the dialects of the Azerbaijani language is important in 2
ways:
1. The dialect fund of the language contains ancient elements, 2. The Kipchak
language was closely involved in the formation of the Oghuz-Azerbaijani
language. In this article, the forms, semantic features, and meaning changes of
several words (epçi, erd , balavuz, saxav, eg çi, kada-, köken etc.) used in the
"Codex" were investigated, which also exist in the dialects of the Azerbaijani
language, and Anatolian dialects were also addressed when appropriate
