The article explores the antiquity and richness of the Uzbek language, examining its historical roots and the history of its name. It emphasizes its broad capabilities and important features noted by great thinkers. It notes that the Uzbek language occupies a distinctive place, status, and influence among the world's languages. The social function of languages varies across the world, and their ability to serve society varies. It has been shown that the Uzbek language, as a national language of "quick comprehension and high perception," collects and transmits unique intellectual products, important information about history, culture, and socio-cultural relations.It is emphasized that the function of language to collect and transmit information should be studied in a separate monographic context.
