The article explores theoretical challenges in teaching foreign languages amid globalization and the emergence of a global language. Increasing intercultural communication demands among diverse nationalities highlight tensions between the simplification and spread of English and the preservation of national linguistic and cultural identities. Traditional language teaching in secondary and higher education is undergoing significant transformation, influenced by modern communication technologies such as , Skype, and social media. The study emphasizes changes in teaching content, methods, and tools to meet contemporary societal needs. Drawing on I.L. Bim’s approach, the article analyzes language learning content within digital educational environments, focusing on text as a core unit.
