MICROTOPONYMS FORMED SYNTACTICALLY

Аннотация

A certain part of Azerbaijani toponymy is covered by toponyms. Toponyms differ from other word groups. These onyms have archaic lexical, morphological and syntactic features. Toponyms (macrotoponyms (large geographical spaces) and microtoponyms (small geographical spaces)) that reflect the socio-political and socio-economic life and religious approaches of our people arise at different periods of history. Compared to macrotoponyms, microtoponyms can be forgotten for various reasons (war, death of people living in the area, especially representatives of the older generation, migration of the population from one place to another, etc.). The system of microtoponyms (microoronyms, microoikonyms and microhydronyms) of our language is constantly changing. One microtoponymic unit replaces another. Microtoponyms can arise lexically, morphologically and syntactically. The article will discuss the syntactically arising microtoponyms recorded in the Karabakh region.
