Аннотация

The article examines the pseudonyms of Uzbek and Russian women writers of the XVIII–XX centuries from the standpoint of their origin, semantic nature and cognitive functions. The historical context of the emergence of pseudonyms is analyzed, the types and features of their construction are revealed, and the mechanisms of author's identity formation through the use of a literary mask are revealed. Russian and Uzbek pseudonyms create an extensive field of onomastic units. When inventing them, the authors turn to various types of word formation and the use of metaplasmas, and when creating collective pseudonyms, they strive to celebrate the contribution of each author; to perpetuate the name, show kinship, even manage to start a game with the reader. Such nominative units are found only in pseudonyms. They are considered in the article from cognitive, lexico-semantic, morphological, graphic, phonetic points of view.
