Abstract

This article discusses the role of folk dialects in the development of the literary
language and the history of dialect research. One of the features characteristic of the dialects of
the village of Chandir, Pastdargom region, such as mutual homonymy and synonymy, was
attempted to be analyzed in comparison with the materials of neighboring dialects.
