Аннотация

This article analyzes the expression of universal human values in
Uzbek and Kazakh folk tales. It highlights the close connection of fairy tales with the
people’s way of life, traditions, worldview, and spiritual-moral values, while also revealing
their educational significance. In addition, information is provided about the historical
forms of the term “fairy tale” and its usage in different regions. The article also examines
the distinctive features of migratory plot tales and presents a comparative analysis of the
Uzbek folk tale “Egrivoy and Toʻgʻrivoy” and the Kazakh folk tale “Zhakhsylyk pen
Zhamandyk.” The research concludes that such values as kindness, honesty, justice,
integrity, and humanity are commonly reflected in the folklore of both nations, and that
this phenomenon is the result of their historical, cultural, and spiritual closeness
