Аннотация

This article provides a comparative analysis of the artistic expressive devices
used in Uzbek and Turkish folk proverbs. It highlights the role of folklore examples in reflecting
the people’s spirituality, worldview, and aesthetic thinking, and reveals the specific features of
literary devices such as metaphor, hyperbole, symbolic imagery, repetition, and contrast found in
proverbs. During the research, the semantic similarities and national distinctive features of Uzbek
and Turkish proverbs are analyzed based on examples. In addition, the importance of artistic
devices in expressing folk wisdom in a vivid and impactful way is demonstrated
