This article provides a comprehensive and systematic scientific analysis of
the phonetic, lexical, and grammatical features of the Tashkent Kazakh dialect. The study
examines the speech characteristics of the Kazakh population living in Uzbekistan, with particular
attention to the linguistic changes that have emerged as a result of long-term language contact
with the Uzbek language.
The article also analyzes phonetically specific phenomena characteristic of the dialect —
such as sound alternation, assimilation, reduction, and diphthongization — on a scientific basis.
In the lexical layer, units borrowed from the Uzbek language and their semantic and phonetic
adaptation are revealed. From the grammatical perspective, the variability of morphological
forms, the specific use of affixes, and the formation of new grammatical models under the influence
of language contact are substantiated.
The results of the research are of significant scientific importance for determining the
regional linguistic identity of the Tashkent Kazakh dialect, explaining dialectological and
sociolinguistic processes, and enriching the theory of language contact
