Аннотация

This article examines the role of the munshaot genre in classical Eastern literature, with a particular focus on its introduction into Turkic literature. The article classifies and critically analyzes letters within the epistolary genre, providing a detailed examination of the collection Sharafnoma (or Munshaoti Abdulloh Marvorid), compiled by Abdulloh Marvorid, who held the position of sadorat (chief office) during Sultan Husayn Bayqara’s reign. A brief overview of Marvorid's biography is also included. Additionally, the article explores the Persian letters attributed to Amir Alisher Navoi, featured in the Sharafnoma, with a focus on his correspondence with rulers. One notable letter, Navoi’s communication with Shirvanshah Farrukh Yasar, is presented in its original text alongside a translation and is analyzed in detail. Further insights into other Persian letters by Navoi are also discussed, with attention to their historical and literary significance
