This thesis analyzes the study of anthroponyms in the pragmatic aspect in world linguistics, its theoretical foundations, and the research of scholars who have contributed to the study of personal names in applied linguistics. In Uzbek linguistics, the facts that form the basis for the study of personal names at the linguopragmatic level are examined
