Since the Tajik and Uzbek languages function in the same geographic region, it is natural that they had a beneficial influence on each other. The best example of this influence is Babur's Baburnama. Our attention has been focused on the use of Tajik vocabulary in the Baburnama, and due to space limitations, we will limit ourselves to the material of only the first part of the work, describing the events of 1494. In the above-mentioned section, Babur used about 200 Tajik words. These words can be divided into the following groups depending on their meaning: 1) words expressing the concept of kinship; 2) words expressing the concepts of statehood, weapons and armor; 3) words expressing religious and sectarian concepts; 4) words expressing concepts related to seasons, fruits and plants; 5) words denoting the names of the days of the week and related concepts; 6) words expressing the concepts of qualities and attributes; 7) words expressing various concepts; 8) auxiliary words (conjunctions).
