This article is devoted to the interpretation of the image of Moni in the works "Farhod and Shirin" and "Sabayi Sayyor", which are part of the "Khamsa" written by the great thinker and poet, statesman, scientist, founder of the Uzbek literary language Mir Alisher Navoi. The two great epics discuss the methods of interpretation of the image of the painter and artist Moni, who is depicted in them as the owner of unique knowledge, a high spiritual world, and knowledge and literature, his role as a symbol, and his artistic role. The true historical genesis of the personality of Moni, his life, religious and philosophical views, and the spiritual legacy he left in the literature of the ancient Turkic peoples are discussed. Examples are given of Alisher Navoi's loving depiction of the image of Moni as a creator of beauty and art
