This article explores communicative strategies typical of geopolitical texts and their pragmatic adaptation in translation through a comparative analysis. Relying on linguopragmatic and discourse-oriented approaches, the study identifies three core communicative strategies commonly employed in geopolitical texts: legitimizing, neutralizing, and mobilizing strategies
