Poetic arts are considered one of the components of oriental lyrics, decorating speech, highlighting its unique aspects, and serving as a means for beautiful and meaningful expression of thought. Poetic arts are widely used mainly in classical poetry, sometimes in prose, and are still used in modern literature. In classical literature, in particular, in the works of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, there are several types of word art such as talmeh, tajnis, iyhom, tazod, tanosib, which, when studied, we understand how beautiful our artistic language, the classical Uzbek language, is. The article discusses the use of talmeh art in the ghazas of Navoi and Babur and its socio-educational significance, and analyzes it using the example of couplets
