Abstract

This article discusses Yusuf Khos Hajib's "Kutadgu Bilig" and Ahmad Yassavi's educational views on the direction of advice and exhortation in teaching literature, as well as his moral and philosophical considerations in perfecting a perfect person. The main focus is on the formation of patience and contentment in the minds of students, restraint of the tongue, and avoidance of vices such as self-centeredness. The image of self in the works of writers is often used in the sense of a guilty conscience, and self-centeredness is considered the greatest enemy. Poets emphasize not giving in to self-centeredness, saying that a person who has overcome his self-centeredness and is able to live with gratitude for having a healthy body and mind is a truly happy person.
