Abstract

In this article, the role of adjectives in enhancing the persuasive potential of suggestive speech is analysed. It is substantiated with examples that antonymous adjectives, as well as comparative and diminutive degree adjectives, can become a means of influencing consciousness through stylistic devices such as gradation, parallelism, and repetition
