As is known, the lexical structure of the Uzbek language is a holistic phenomenon, formed as a vocabulary of this language, as a lexical-semantic system. However, it should also be taken into account that the lexical structure of our language has undergone very complex stages of historical development. In order to know the features of the historical development and formation of the lexicon of any language, it is necessary to study words in depth from a historical-etymological point of view and to scientifically determine their etymology. Such research, in turn, makes it possible to determine with which fraternal and non-fraternal languages the Uzbek language interacted in the past, and paves the way for a scientific understanding of the processes of historical development that occurred in the lexical structure and grammatical structure of the language. These ideas are also directly related to determining the stages of formation of some lexemes, which are the object of our study.
Collecting and studying the etymology of each lexeme in separate regions will help to delve deeper into the essence of this issue and reveal the specific laws and features of the system of regional-linguistic phenomena.
This article is devoted to determining the origin of the guest lexeme. At the same time, the expression of this term in Turkic languages, its meanings, the occurrence of narrowing or expanding phenomena in the lexeme sememe, and the methods of formation are scientifically explained
