ALISHER NAVOIYNING “SAB’AI SAYYOR” ASARIDAGI IDISH-TOVOQ NOMLARINING LEKSIK-SEMANTIK XUSUSIYATLARI

Abstract

This article systematically analyzes the lexical and semantic features of the terms related to the names of dishes in the epic poem "Sab'ai Sayyor", which is part of Alisher Navoi's work "Hamsa". In the course of this study, the semantic typology, etymological origin, and contextual meaning of household vocabulary are highlighted. Through the names of dishes in the work, some aspects of the palace culture, lifestyle, banquet ceremonies, and labor activity of the 15th-16th centuries are reflected in the language. During the analysis, the semantic composition, stylistic function, synonymous and variant forms of these words are revealed, as well as aspects related to their use in the modern Uzbek language.
