Abstract

This article analyzes the characteristics of expressing diminutive meaning. It discusses the most common method of conveying diminutive-affectionate meanings. Examples of grammatical forms that produce diminutives are provided. The article highlights the important role of diminutive-affectionate forms in speech culture, their function in strengthening emotional bonds between people, expressing warmth and sincerity, and softening speech
