Abstract

This article analyzes the relationship between lacuna and reality using the works of Abdulla Qodiriy as an example. Lacuna and reality are often analyzed as similar phenomena, but they are different concepts. It is not correct to use the phenomenon of lacuna as a synonym for reality. Their use as a synonym not only narrows the scope of the concept of unity of reality, but also creates an incorrect approach. Because lacuna by its name expresses the meanings of “gap”, “unnamed concept”. It is appropriate to apply the phenomenon of lacuna to the lack of verbal expression of concepts existing in cultures.
