Abstract

This article explores the historical and cultural parallels between Kazakh and
Uzbek folklore. Both nations share a rich oral tradition filled with common epic heroes, legends,
fairy tales, and proverbs. The study conducts a comparative analysis of epic motifs, character
types, and folkloric elements embedded in traditions. It also examines the contemporary relevance
of folklore in shaping national identity and values. Kazakh and Uzbek folklore serves as a profound
spiritual heritage reflecting their ethnocultural unity. The analysis is based on scholarly sources,
folklore studies, and specific examples. This
