Abstract

This article presents ideas about the concept of a word, the essence of
lexemes, the general lexical meaning, the possibility of valence, and the real semantic meaning
of words in speech. The necessary views on the general and specific meanings of a word, as well
as the relationship between functional-semantic meanings, are also presented.
Key concepts: word meaning, sememe, valence, synonymous series, functional-semantic
meanings, linguistic meaning, speech meaningFolk pedagogy preserves common elements of
culture and educational practices inherited from its own people and other ethnic groups.
Folklore, archaeological finds, memoir literature, materials on ethnography and anthropology,
and other sources can be used to study folk pedagogy.
