STYLISTIC FEATURES OF TOPONYMS IN THE LITERATURE OF AZERBAIJANI WRITERS (Based on the example of fiction by Jalil Mammadguluzade)

Abstract

In the artistic work of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, geographical names have
great and rich communicative, informative, expressive and stylistic functions and poetic
possibilities. In numerous studies on Azerbaijani geographical names, in scientific works devoted
to the language and style of Mirza Jalil's poetry and other onomastic units, many aspects of
geographical names attract attention as a subject of research. Since in the present article the place
names used by Jalil Mammadguluzadeh in his artistic works are analyzed mainly from the point
of view of style, it is natural that we pay more attention to the studies conducted in this direction
