Abstract

The purpose of this article is to examine the experience of using modern information technologies in the process of teaching a foreign language to students in a non-linguistic university. The author argues that the use of information technology is a crucial part of the learning process and that it is relevant to the practice of teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic institution. Results. The benefits and drawbacks of contemporary computer technologies are described. It describes the experience of teaching foreign languages to pupils in a nonlinguistic institution using computer technologies. It is noted that the use of contemporary technology in the process of learning a foreign language facilitates learning and gives pupils a comfortable setting. They assist pupils in overcoming their psychological issues and linguistic obstacle. Multimedia resources allow for continual foreign language learning that goes beyond the confines of a hands-on course. The most recent advancements in information technology create a distinctive chance to gather a broader informative foundation on the topic of "Foreign Language," while also allowing for the exploration of students' creative potential, which enhances the process of learning foreign languages to be more interactive, enjoyable, and effective.
