Abstract

The use of folklore materials is important in increasing the effectiveness of
the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language. Modern teaching methods do not pay
enough attention to the study of folklore in Russian language lessons. It is necessary to develop a
scientifically based system of work on the systematic and targeted use of Russian folklore samples
in the educational process.
