Abstract

This article discusses Shonazar Shoabdurahmonov’s significant contributions
to the study, collection, and publication of oral folk literature, as well as his efforts to uncover and
promote examples of Uzbek folklore. It highlights the work he carried out in collaboration with
the founder of Uzbek folklore studies, Hodi Zarif, and the distinguished folklorist Toʻra Mirzayev.
The article also emphasizes that he was a researcher of the creative heritage of Ergash
Jumanbulbul oʻgʻli.
