dialect. The study analyzes the vowel and consonant systems of the Norin Kipchak and Karluk
dialects. Particular attention is given to vowel harmony, positional changes of consonants, and
the pronunciation characteristics of sounds in different phonetic environments. The article also
provides a detailed discussion of the differences between the “ǯ” dialects and the “j” dialects
