Uzbek and Turkish phrases are analyzed in this article. Somatic
expressions (somatic phraseology or somatisms) are phraseological units formed with
the participation of the names of human body parts (head, eye, hand, heart, hair, etc.),
which constitute an important part of the phraseological wealth of the language. These
expressions are of particular importance as a linguistic and cultural tool that reflects the
people’s worldview, culture, psychology and daily life experience.
