Abstract

This article explores the formation, development, and scholarly investigation
of sector-specific vocabulary. Particular attention is paid to scientific perspectives on agricultural
and livestock-related lexicon. The study also focuses on horticultural vocabulary as one of the
significant branches of sector-specific lexis, describing the names of fruit varieties and their
distinctive features. Furthermore, a number of horticulture-related terms are presented, and their
usage patterns and semantic characteristics are analyzed in detail
