Abstract

This article investigates the reflection of the family institution, a high sociospiritual
value in the culture and lifestyle of Turkic peoples, within the paremiological system.
Through a comparative lens, the study examines the expressive characteristics of family values in
Uzbek and Turkish folk proverbs. The paper highlights the conceptual symmetry and semantic
laconicism encoded in these paremies based on cognate linguistic data
