The work “Xuastuanift” is one of the leading sources of Manichaeism, which
was one of the three major religious movements, and this monument is equally significant for
Turkic cultural heritage. This text was regarded among Manichaeans as a hymn. Its distinctiveness
lies in the fact that it explains and analyzes the causes of the emergence of Manichaeism, its
essence, and its role in society. Although “Xuastuanift” has not been preserved in its complete
form, it remains a valuable source that provides substantial information about mythological
concepts and images. Notably, cosmogonic myths occupy an important place in this work.
Therefore, this article examines the origin of “Xuastuanift”, as well as the mythological ideas and
images reflected in it. The arguments are supported by excerpts from the text
