Abstract

This article provides an ideological and artistic analysis of the first chapter of the epic Farhad and Shirin from Alisher Navoi’s Khamsa, a work that holds a significant place in his literary oeuvre. The analysis focuses on the sources of the themes presented in the verses, particularly the influence of the Holy Qur'an, Hadith Sharif, and Sufi teachings. The poetic lines of the epic are examined in prose form, with a detailed exploration of their literary and philosophical underpinnings.
