Abstract

This article explores the creative continuation of the tradition of writing prefaces to the divan of Alisher Navoi, specifically in the works of prominent representatives of the Khorezm literary milieu, including Munis, Ogakhi, and Tabibi. The study critically examines the interplay of tradition and originality in the prefaces to their divans, analyzing how these poets both adhered to and innovated upon established literary conventions. Through this analysis, the article highlights the distinctive features of their contributions and evaluates the evolution of preface-writing within the context of Khorezm's literary development
