This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of globalization on national culture. It explores the essence of globalization, its role in contemporary social development, and its interaction with national cultural values from a theoretical perspective. The study examines both the positive and negative aspects of globalization. On the one hand, it highlights opportunities such as the expansion of intercultural communication, rapid information exchange, and the promotion of national culture at the global level. On the other hand, it addresses challenges including cultural standardization, the dominance of mass culture, and the potential erosion of traditional values and national identity.
Furthermore, the article analyzes the issue of maintaining a balance between globalization and national culture based on the views of modern scholars. Particular emphasis is placed on the case of Uzbekistan, where efforts are being made to preserve cultural heritage while adapting to global changes. The role of education, cultural policy, and social institutions in strengthening national identity is also discussed.
