Abstract

This article analyzes the problem of institutional trust as an important factor in youth electoral choice and the level of trust of our country's youth in civil society institutions, as well as identity and mental characteristics as sociocultural determinants of youth electoral behavior, and the problems of absenteeism and conformism as two widespread forms of passive political participation among young people associated with personal and sociocultural factors.
